It is with great pleasure that we present KLAUSA: Kajian Linguistik, Pembelajaran Bahasa, dan Sastra, Volume 10, Number 1, 2026. Reaching its tenth volume marks an important milestone for the journal, reflecting a decade of commitment to fostering scholarly conversations in linguistics, literature, and language teaching. Throughout these years, KLAUSA has remained dedicated to providing a platform for researchers and educators to explore the dynamic intersections of language, culture, society, and education in both local and global contexts.

The articles featured in this issue exemplify the diversity of contemporary language and literary studies. Together, they demonstrate how language and literature continue to serve as powerful lenses through which we understand human experiences, cultural identities, social transformations, and educational practices.

The first article, Representasi Keindahan Wisata Malioboro dalam Novel Malioboro at Midnight Karya Skysphire: Kajian Sastra Pariwisata, highlights the role of literature in shaping readers’ perceptions of place and culture. By examining the representation of Malioboro in contemporary fiction, the study reminds us that literary texts are not only aesthetic artifacts but also cultural mediums that preserve and promote collective identities.

Expanding the discussion into the realm of popular culture, TAP! TAP! TAP! Coherence of Onomatopoeic Expression Between the Song Titles and the Themes in K-Pop Songs offers an insightful exploration of linguistic creativity in Korean popular music. The study illustrates how sound symbolism and onomatopoeia function beyond stylistic embellishment, contributing meaningfully to thematic coherence and enriching listeners’ engagement with contemporary media.

In the field of cognitive linguistics, Blessing That Flows: A Conceptual Metaphor Analysis of Blessings in English and Indonesian provides a compelling cross-cultural perspective on how abstract spiritual concepts are conceptualized through metaphor. The findings reveal the intricate relationship between language, cognition, and culture, demonstrating how metaphor serves as a fundamental mechanism through which individuals understand and communicate lived experiences.

This issue also addresses the growing significance of digital spaces as sites of literary expression and social engagement. Kritis Sosial dalam Konten Sastra di TikTok @pujanggahalmahera00 sebagai Media Ekspresi Generasi Muda terhadap Fenomena Sosial di Indonesia: Pragmatik Jacob L. Mey examines how digital literary practices enable younger generations to articulate social concerns and negotiate meaning within contemporary public discourse. The article underscores the evolving nature of literature in the digital era and its enduring role as a vehicle for social critique.

Finally, Peran Empati Guru dan Keterbukaan Diri (Self-Disclosure) dalam Membangun Relasi Pedagogis yang Inklusif di MTs Mukhtar Syafa’at Blokagung reminds us that education is fundamentally a human endeavor. By foregrounding empathy and authentic communication in pedagogical relationships, the study contributes valuable insights into creating inclusive learning environments that honor the diverse experiences and needs of students.

Collectively, the contributions in this volume reaffirm that language, literature, and education are deeply interconnected domains.
