The primary challenge in modern education, particularly within the pesantren (Islamic boarding school) environment, is the emotional distance and rigid hierarchical structures that hinder the process of knowledge transfer and character building. This research employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological case study design. Data were collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation studies. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing according to the Miles and Huberman model. The results indicate that teacher empathy serves as the core foundation in creating an inclusive classroom climate, where teachers act as active listeners who validate the diverse backgrounds of the students (santri). Measured and proportional self-disclosure practices proved to be a catalyst in building trust and dismantling rigid formalities without diminishing the teacher's authority (marwah). The synergy between empathy and self-disclosure creates a "third space" that humanizes the learning process, increases student self-efficacy, and transforms transactional relationships into dialogic ones. This study concludes that traditional pesantren values can adapt to the demands of inclusive education through a pedagogy of compassion. However, the sustainability of this model requires systemic support from the institution in the form of strengthening counseling competencies for teachers and balanced workload management to maintain the quality of personal interaction between teachers and students.

Keywords: Teacher Empathy, Self-Disclosure, Pedagogical Relationship, Inclusive Education, Pesantren.
2026-07-29T00:43:56+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://jurnal.machung.ac.id/index.php/klausa/article/view/1436 REPRESENTASI KEINDAHAN WISATA MALIOBORO DALAM NOVEL MALIOBORO AT MIDNIGHT KARYA SKYSPHIRE: KAJIAN SASTRA PARIWISATA 2026-07-31T05:05:09+00:00 Wardatul Faradisah farahdisa797@gmail.com Bohri Rahman Boharirahman143@gmail.com
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan representasi keindahan wisata Malioboro yang digambarkan dalam novel Malioboro at Midnight karya SkySphire. TAP! TAP ! COHERENCES OF ONOMATOPOEIC EXPRESSION BETWEEN THE SONG TITLES AND THE THEMES IN KOREAN POP SONGS 2026-07-31T00:02:07+00:00 Keyla Safirna Rechan 236111051@mhs.uinsaid.ac.id Khodijah Gadis Arivia 236111038@mhs.uinsaid.ac.id Romadon Budi Utomo 236111064@mhs.uinsaid.ac.id Eva Zulianti 236111049@mhs.uinsaid.ac.id
: K-pop has become part of Korean culture attracting international attention. Behind its dazzling success, K-pop has various interesting elements. One of the main attractions in this industry is the songs. Creative ideas abound in the writing of lyrics and the selection of song titles. One such element is the use of onomatopoeia, as seen in the numerous songs with unique or even strange-sounding lyrics, such as bang bang bang, clik clak, and boom. This study aims to analyze the consistency of onomatopoeia usage in K-pop song titles. We use a theory based on Vilma Kokko's (2013) theory of six types of sound effects based on their source to analyze the types of onomatopoeia in K-pop song titles. How these types of onomatopoeia cohered with the songs is analyzed using Walter Fisher's (2010) theory, which states that coherence is based on three specific types of coherences. Techniques of analysis by Spradley (1980) were employed in this study. The main findings of this study indicate that onomatopoeia in K-pop song titles are not merely decorative or distinguishing elements, but play an important role both semantically and symbolically. The types of onomatopoeia most frequently used as song titles are impact, air current, explosions, and gunshots. This study aims to contribute to the understanding of semiotic strategies in contemporary Korean pop music. Further research could combine lyrics, images, and music video backgrounds in an objective manner in order to fully understand the metaphors, symbolism, messages conveyed by artists, and cultural values.
2026-07-29T00:39:25+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://jurnal.machung.ac.id/index.php/klausa/article/view/1458 BLESSING THAT FLOWS: A CONCEPTUAL METAPHOR ANALYSIS OF BLESSINGS IN ENGLISH AND INDONESIAN 2026-07-31T00:02:09+00:00 Akhida Cahya Lestari akhidacahya@gmail.com Anandya Asprillia anandya.a@ub.ac.id Ahmad Zaidi ahmadzaidi1994@gmail.com
This study looks at how people talk about blessings, using the lens of cognitive semantics and focusing on metaphors in religious language. The main goal is to pinpoint the key conceptual metaphors behind words related to “blessing,” and to show how these metaphors shape meaning in real contexts. To do this, data from religious texts and contemporary written sources in both Indonesian and English were gathered. Then, using qualitative descriptive methods and conceptual metaphor theory, we sorted out the metaphorical expressions, identified their source and target domains, and checked how often they popped up in different themes. The findings stand out: people often describe blessings using metaphors like wealth, abundance, journey, light, and divine gift. But the most common are BLESSING IS WEALTH and BLESSING IS ABUNDANCE, which tie spiritual value tightly to ideas of material gain or measurable benefit. The patterns aren’t just decorative language; they're fundamental frameworks that guide how believers think and talk about religious concepts. In short, the research shows that metaphor isn’t just fancy phrasing in religious language—it’s central to how people make sense of spiritual ideas, revealing deep, culturally rooted ways of seeing the world.
2026-07-29T00:40:37+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://jurnal.machung.ac.id/index.php/klausa/article/view/1460 KRITIS SOSIAL DALAM KONTEN SASTRA DI TIKTOK @PUJANGGAHALMAHERA00 SEBAGAI MEDIA EKSPRESI GENERASI MUDA TERHADAP FENOMENA SOSIAL DI INDONESIA: PRAGMATIK JACOB L. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach through pragmatic analysis. The research data consists of poetry excerpts that address environmental issues, legal injustice, and power relations between the state, corporations, and local communities. The analysis is conducted by examining the context of the utterances, implications, metaphors, and rhetorical strategies used to convey social criticism. The results show that these poems employ various pragmatic strategies such as ecological metaphors, rhetorical questioning, repetition, and implications to highlight environmental damage caused by mining and plantation activities, development inequality, and the lack of protection for local communities. Furthermore, these poems demonstrate the irony between the narrative of independence and national development and the social realities faced by local communities.
2026-07-29T00:42:20+00:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement##
